  1. Who should visit SOLEX?  
    Solex is trade show specifically designed for all buyers of garden furniture and barbecues. It is not open to the public and,unless absolutely necessary, only for adults.
  2. Where is SOLEX taking place?
    SOLEX is taking place at the Telford International Centre and will occupy the whole of the International Centre
  3. When is the show open?
    SOLEX is open for three days- Monday 5th July, 2010 9am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 6th July 9am to 5:30pm and Wednesday  7th July 9am to 5pm
  4. How many visitors are expected at SOLEX?
    The organizers are expecting about 3000 visitors over the 3 days
  5. How long should I visit SOLEX?
    SOLEX is a compact show of over 40 of the top names and brands in Garden furniture and Barbecues in the UK but leave yourself plenty of time to discuss and place your orders.  SOLEX is open for three days- Monday 5th July, 2010 9am to 5:30pm, Tuesday 6th July 9am to 5:30pm and Wednesday  7th July 9am to 5pm
    You are welcome on all three days.
  6. How do I register for the show?
    It couldn't be simpler; it can be done online -just click on the register now links or click on the register/logon icon in the top menu and follow the easy to enter details. You will be given an unique registration number (URN)and you will receive automatically a badge for entry two weeks before the show, or just bring your URN to the show and you will be registered at the show. We will notify you of any developments on the show as they occur.
  7. Are there any special deals on accommodation?
    The organizers have specifically reserved accommodation in the nearby hotels at competitive rates. There is a Travel Centre contact via the Visiting section on this web site.
  8. Where can I park the car and how much will it cost?
    There are large car parks next to the International Centre and they will be free. There are also good public transport links.
  9. Where can I get refreshments?
    Refreshments will be complimentary at SOLEX there is a large cafe at the back of Hall 2. Lunch  will also be provided free of charge upstairs  provided you are wearing your badge.
  10. Who is organizing SOLEX?
    SOLEX is being organized by the Lesiure and Outdoor Furniture Association (LOFA) for its members to exhibit their garden furniture and barbecue products for the 2011 season. Any profits from the show are being ploughed back into making the show a better experience for the visitors
  11. Who is Premier Promotions and Exhibitions Limited?
    LOFA have set up this wholly owned subsiduary company to run SOLEX. Eric Hopper, the current LOFA Chairman, is Director and Richard Plowman, the LOFA Secretary, is Company Secretary and Show Organizer. They have put together a professional team to run the show and the LOFA Council are dedicated to making SOLEX a success.
  12. Why is SOLEX taking place in July?
    The market has changed , more and more product is being sourced from the Far East and overseas and lead times are increasing. Several LOFA members held very successful individual events in July 2007. By having the exhibition in July , buyers can have far more influence over the ranges of products that will be stocked for the following seaso
  13. Does SOLEX have any links with other shows?
    No SOLEX is a stand alone show for LOFA members only and has no links with other trade exhibitons in the garden market.
  14.  Can I come along to the show if I haven't registered and will there be a charge?
  15. Yes you can register at the show provided you are a trade visitor. There is no charge.
